ABOUT SHARON

Sharon is a yoga enthusiast and loves to help others reclaim their youthful joy through the practice of yoga.

She worked for many years in healthcare and medical research, and became hooked on yoga as a natural follow-on as she is convinced it is vital to have a healthy body and mind to help strive off the effects of ageing and to enjoy life to the fullest.

Yoga has been part of Sharon’s life for a long time. She discovered that each class helped her grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Travelling to the Himalayas in India to study the depths of this ancient practice was positively life-changing.

"It is an absolute joy to help others obtain feelings of wellbeing, peace and confidence by teaching a strong alignment-based yoga flow with emphasis on linking breath to movement.

Yoga is about how we feel inside and it is hoped that at the end of class you will feel energised, balanced with a spirit of playfulness. Yoga is the elixir of youth!"

Sharon has found that yoga is not about achieving precise alignment in poses but is an ongoing fun journey for all students of yoga. It affects our life in a positive way, and Sharon wants to share her teachings and knowledge to help as many people as possible to discover yoga.
